Nominations for the 58th Annual Drama Desk Awards, celebrating excellence in Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway, were announced this morning.

ANNIE has been nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Musical (Anthony Warlow).

THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES has been nominated for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Director of a Play (Lynne Meadow), Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play (Judith Light), and Outstanding Set Design (Santo Loquasto).

CHAPLIN THE MUSICAL has been nominated for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical (Christiane Noll), Outstanding Orchestrations (Larry Hochman), Outstanding Costume Design (Amy Clark & Martin Pakledinaz), Outstanding Lighting Design (Ken Billington), Outstanding Projection Design (Jon Driscoll), and Outstanding Sound Design (Scott Lehrer & Drew Levy).

I’LL EAT YOU LAST: A CHAT WITH SUE MENGERS has been nominated for Outstanding Solo Performance (Bette Midler).

LUCKY GUY has been nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Play (Tom Hanks).

MATILDA THE MUSICAL has been nominated for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical (Bertie Carvel), Outstanding Director of a Musical (Matthew Warchus), Outstanding Choreography (Peter Darling), Outstanding Lyrics (Tim Minchin), Outstanding Book of a Musical (Dennis Kelly), and Outstanding Set Design (Rob Howell).

OLD HATS has been nominated for Outstanding Revue and Outstanding Projection Design (Wendall K. Harrington).

OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES has been nominated for Outstanding Revue.

THE PIANO LESSON has been nominated for Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Director of a Play (Ruben Santiago-Hudson) and Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play (Chuck Cooper).

PIPPIN has been nominated for Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Outstanding Director of a Musical (Diane Paulus), Outstanding Choreography (Chet Walker & Gypsy Snider), Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical (Andrea Martin), Outstanding Costume Design (Dominique Lemieux), and Outstanding Lighting Design (Kenneth Posner).

Not for profit company nominations:

MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB has been honored with four nominations for THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES.

SIGNATURE THEATRE COMPANY productions have been honored with five Drama Desk Award nominations including three for THE PIANO LESSON and two for OLD HATS.
